“Growth and progress” is an art collection about not focusing on perfection but just taking it one day at a time. Being more present and celebrating every little step you take, no matter how small.
I used to just focus on the big achievements because I tied it to my self-worth. If I didn’t accomplish something, I felt useless and unproductive. I measured every little thing I did but never felt proud of my progress.
When I spend time in nature, I am reminded that everything goes at its own pace. There’s no rush or hurry to accomplish something. It simply exists and it feels rested but it’s still growing.
I believe that growth and progress happens when you acknowledge every part of the journey, especially on the low days.
Getting out of bed is progress, taking a shower is progress, going outside is progress.
Be compassionate and kind towards yourself because you’re doing better than you think.
